Can I give a colleague access to Compare Your Footprint?

Modified on Wed, 16 Oct at 2:31 PM

To swap access, you could invite the colleague, who will be taking over the carbon footprinting, to all organisation accounts in Compare Your Footprint by taking the following steps:

  1. Select the organisation name from the drop-down list in the top-right corner of the page (next to the little ‘i’ icon).
  2. Then, clicking the ‘Users’ tab in the menu on the left.
  3. Click ‘Invite User’.
  4. Fill in all the information of the colleague who is going to be taking over and then click ‘Submit’.
  5. Repeat the above steps for each organisation that your colleague needs to get access to.

Once you have clicked ‘Submit’, the application will send an email to your colleague’s inbox, and they will be able to register as a user of the app by following the instruction in the invite email. Please kindly note that there will be a 7-day window for your colleague to register to CYF, the invite link and the temporary password in the invite email will be expired after the 7th day upon receipt of the invite email. And once your colleague has their account set up in CYF and have got access to every organisation that they need, you or your colleague could send us an email to have your user account removed from the application.

Please note that if the organisation that you need to swap access for is on a Compare Your Footprint subscription, we would also need to update the payment details or have the payment details switched to a new email to make sure payments would be going through to the right person. If you have any payment details filled in for any of your organisation(s), please email support@compareyourfootprint.com to contact a member of our support team for more information.
