Group Emissions Reporting Feature

Managing carbon emissions across multiple companies just got easier. Our Group Reporting feature allows you to track, manage, and report emissions for parent companies, subsidiaries, and investment portfolios — all in one central platform.

How the Feature Works:

1. Setting Up Group Emissions

You can organise your entities by adding child (subsidiary) organisations under a parent organisation via the Organisational Hierarchy page.

Important: All organisations in the group must share the same reporting year-end date in the platform.

On the Organisational Hierarchy page, you can:

• Define child organisations under the parent company

• Set reporting dates for the group

• Assign the percentage ownership for each child organisation

2. Viewing Group Emissions

We’ve enhanced the online (HTML) reports of parent organisations to include emissions data from child organisations. Key features include:

Organisation Selection for Reports:
Use the dropdown menu to select which organisations to include in your online carbon report. Then, click Generate to create the report. (Note: This selection feature is currently available only in the online report, not in the downloadable PDF.)

Total Reported Greenhouse Gas Emissions Table:
See a consolidated summary of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions across all organisations in the group, adjusted by percentage ownership.

Organisation-Level Emissions Breakdown Table:
View detailed emissions data by Scope 1, 2, and 3 for each organisation, all in one easy-to-read table.

Excel Carbon Report Enhancements:
Download a comprehensive Excel report from the parent organisation that consolidates emissions data across all subsidiaries and portfolio companies. This enables detailed analysis of your group’s emissions in multiple formats.
